“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11
God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. That truth does not mean that hard things and tough seasons won’t come—even for those of us who know the Lord on a personal level. God knew us before we ever took our first breath, and He has a purpose for our lives.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” — Jeremiah 1:5
Sometimes God allows us to walk through difficult battles—not to harm us, but to reveal His goodness more deeply or to lovingly draw us back to Him. No matter how far we may have wandered, His love never leaves us.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28
For many of us, especially because of the influence of earthly culture, we begin to believe we are somehow behind. We compare our lives to others and grow frustrated when we are not in the same place or season as our peers. But God does not measure our lives by comparison—He measures them by obedience.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
If you are listening to God and faithfully doing what He has called you to do in this season, then you are exactly where you belong. His timing is intentional, and His plans are never late.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
God knows everything about us—our fears, our hopes, and every step ahead. When we quiet our hearts and listen, He promises to guide us.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” — Psalm 32:8
To the singles who are waiting and wondering: God knows who your person is. It may simply not be His time yet for your paths to cross. Use this season to grow, to heal, and to become the man or woman of God He is shaping you to be.
“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” — Psalm 37:4
When the time is right, God will move—perfectly, purposefully, and lovingly.
“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” — Isaiah 60:22
